Kerry Winer's ISEE and SSAT tutoring prepares students for the admissions exams that open doors to independent secondary schools. Students preparing for the ISEE and SSAT work on reading comprehension, verbal reasoning, and the timed essay. Kerry teaches students how to read a prompt, structure an argument, and trust their own voice — and she picks up on the anxiety that often surrounds timed essays, building a plan around it so students walk in calm. Timed essay strategy is practiced deliberately, the same way it is in her SAT and PSAT work.
